Community Outreach
An important part of being a community-oriented physician involves ensuring high-quality outcomes for all members of the community you serve. Meritus prides itself on doing this through programs such as:
- Free groceries for those who can't afford healthy foods
- Calling to check in on patients experiencing loneliness and social isolation
- Free rides to doctor's appointments for those without transportation
- Or meeting the patient where they are through the mobile clinic
If you want to participate in research and volunteer experiences that train you on being a community-oriented doctor, You belong at MSOM.
