Extracurricular Activities

MSOM students will be encouraged to be active participants in the Hagerstown community. They are free to pursue extracurriculars at their leisure, whether they be directly associated with the institution or affiliated with other community-oriented organizations throughout the community. As part of their academic studies at MSOM, students will be encouraged to participate and create clubs that fall in line with the mission, vision, and values of the institution. Additionally, MSOM students will be actively encouraged to participate in professional societies and attend national conferences. Participation in such extracurricular activity expedites student learning and provides the opportunity to expand their professional network of peers from other osteopathic and allopathic medical schools.
