About Jessica Colbert, M.A.
Admissions Officer
Jessica Colbert is an Admissions Officer at Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine. She enjoys helping prospective students navigate the admissions process, from answering their first questions to guiding them through the application process.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with an emphasis in Community and Population Health from West Virginia University. She earned her Master of Arts in College Student Development and Administration from Shepherd University in 2023 and is currently pursuing a doctorate in education.
Her higher education experience includes admissions at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in Martinsburg, WV, and admissions and alumni affairs at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV. Before joining MSOM, she taught Math and English in Jefferson County Public Schools in WV.
Originally from southern West Virginia, Jessica has called the state’s Eastern Panhandle home since 2019. She enjoys the region’s small-town feel and its proximity to major metropolitan areas.
