Kahlen serves as an Admissions Recruiter at Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he works closely with prospective students as they navigate the medical school admissions process. With five years of experience in higher education, Kahlen is passionate about building meaningful connections with students, answering questions, and helping individuals feel confident and informed as they take the next steps toward their educational goals.

Originally from southern West Virginia, Kahlen has called Hagerstown, Maryland, home since 2020 and has truly grown to love the community. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Shepherd University, completing his graduate degree while working in the university's Office of Admissions. His experiences in higher education have shaped his passion for student engagement, recruitment, and helping students find their path forward.
