About Matt Dorsey
Simulation Specialist
Matt Dorsey, BSN, RN, serves as the Simulation Specialist at the Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine where he develops immersive clinical simulation experiences to support healthcare education across all disciplines.
Matt is a 2002 graduate of Hagerstown Community College and 2018 graduate of Frostburg State University where he obtained his Nursing degrees. After seven years at Brook Lane Health Services, Matt transitioned into simulation-based education through HCC’s nursing program.
Over the past 17 years, Matt has developed interdisciplinary simulation experiences spanning prelicensure education and clinical practice environments. In 2021, Matt joined Meritus Health where he obtained his certification as a Healthcare Simulation Educator.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys movies, landscaping, card games, and daily walks with his wife and their two dogs, Daisy and Miller.
